Required Faculty (BCA programme):

 

Qualifications as per GU/UGC norms:

1. Director: M.E. / M.Tech. with First Class, B.E. / B.Tech. in computer Science / Engineering / Technology and 10 years experience in Teaching / Research / Computing out which atleast 5 years must be at the level of Reader or equivalent.
   
   

   OR

   M.C.A. or M.Sc. (Computer Science) and atleast 10 years relevant experience in Industry / Profession / Teaching.
   
   Note: Candidate from Industry / Profession / Education with recognized professional work of high standard at national / international level would also be eligible. Requirement of above qualifications could be relaxed in view of very long experience in Computing / Teaching Computer Science in a Senior Supervisory position equivalent to atleast a Reader. Experience should be after the academic qualification acquired.



2. Lecturer:
   1. First Class B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science / Engineering Technology
      OR
   2. M.C.A or M.Sc. (Computer Science)
   
   Note:
   1. Unless otherwise specified the Master / Bachelors degree should be with minimum Second Class and 55% marks.
   2. Where a college is a full fledged one upto third year of the B.C.A. Program and where there are atleast four Lectures / Programmers as per qualifications prescribed here in above, a college may appoint Lecturers possessing the following qualifications. “B.E. (EC) with First Class”
   
   
3. Programmer-cum-Lecturer: Qualifications as prescribed for Lecturer candidate having experience of Software Development and Network Administration will be preferred.


4. Lecturer for Mathematics: M.Sc (Maths) with minimum 55%.
